Situation |
I was exposed to the atomic bomb on the morning of August 6 while gathering at the foot of the Hijiyama Bridge with others to perform building demolition. The bomb blast threw me over but since I had my back to the hypocenter, I suffered burns on my back and the back of my head. After that, I went to my home, witnessing horrible scenes of devastation in the chaotic city. My home had been destroyed, so I lived in my grandmother's house after the bombing. My hair fell out due to the after-effects and other kids made fun of me. |
