| Situation |
As I was off work on August 6, I was standing and talking to a neighborhood friend. Afterwards, I was on the veranda getting ready to go together to the hospital when the atomic bomb was detonated. There was and incredible bomb blast that threw me into my house. Although I suffered various blows to my body, I was not seriously injured. My friend suffered severe burns and looked terrible. After that, I fled to Yasu Elementary School, where I spent several days before returning home to be reunited with my father. |
