Situation |
I was exposed to the atomic bomb at the marine radio station in Ujinamachi where I was a student in the Army Marine Officer Candidate School. From the 7th, I providing nursing care to the injured at the Marine Training Unit. There were some 100 persons who had been injured that we tried to attend to but we couldn't provide sufficient medical care and many of them died one after another. We covered their corpses with corrugated tin sheets and cremated them using gasoline. I gave water to the injured who wanted it only to see them die. |
