| Situation |
I was exposed to the atomic bomb at the Mitsubishi Shipyard in Koi where I worked under the student mobilization. A pitch-black rain fell right after the bomb was detonated. Although the city was a sea of flames, I tried desperately to get to my home in Ushita and along the way, I came across many injured persons with burned flesh as well as many corpses. I was miraculously able to make it through this city of hell and reach my home, after which I returned to the city with a stretcher to rescue my relatives. |
