I had gone to my parent's home in Itsukaichi to get some vegetables, leaving my two sons and in-laws at home. I heard a thunderous roar and saw a fireball in the sky above the city, making me quite worried, so I headed towards my home. The city was in flames and I had to give up on trying to return home. The following day, I was reunited with my in-laws, and a few days after that, I led them to Itsukaichi but I found out that my two sons had burned to death in the tatami room. Some neighbors collected their remains for me. My in-laws passed away about one month later. |
