Situation |
He experienced the atomic bombing when participating in building demolition work as a member of the Occupational Volunteer Fighting Corps. After being exposed to the fierce rays of light, he was thrown together with the bomb blast. It seems he suffered bruises to his lower back but he did not feel any pain. After this, the surrounding area turned pitch black. When it became dimly light, houses had collapsed as far as he could see. Receiving a disaster victim certificate, he returned to his family home. |
