I was eating breakfast when exposed to the atomic bomb. There was a flash of light outside the window and then I lost consciousness. When I woke up, I found myself trapped under the collapsed house. I managed to free myself and escape to Nakayama. I will never forget the disastrous and terrifying scenes I witnessed along the way. That night I vomited horribly. After that, I stayed at my mother's house, and at the end of September, purple spots appeared on my father's skin and he passed away. Presently I suffer from thyroid gland problems. |
