Situation |
I was exposed to the atomic bomb just after coming out of my house. The rays from the explosion hit me all over, as there were no objects to block them. It was exactly as if boiling water had been poured over me. I was blown several meters away by the blast. Then I cooled my face with water and lost consciousness before I could become aware of my pain. When I came to in an air-raid shelter, my pulse was barely beating, but I gradually recovered from that state. I have a deficiency of white blood cells even today. |
