| Situation | I was working in an office at the Mitsubishi Shipyard, under the student mobilization, when I was exposed to the atomic bomb. Just as I had sat down at my desk, there was such a flash that I thought the sun had burst. I went out of the office to see, and there was the mushroom cloud. After that I headed toward Midorii, where there was a refuge. What I saw in the fires on my way was a living hell with terrible groanings. |
