I was in the kitchen cleaning up after breakfast when I was buried under the collapsed house. I crawled out and went to the rover bank. The flames stretched out toward us. Shortly after that black rain started to fall. Wanting to escape to somewhere where there was no fire, I dived into Honkawa River, grabbed onto a floating pillar and swam for around one kilometer downstream where there was no fire. When I reached the area under Sumiyoshi Bridge there was a raft there, and she stayed on the raft until evening. |
