Drawing / Midori Harada 1926 to 1930 (early Showa era) Hijiyama Hill Approx. 1,950m from the hypocenter Hijiyama Hill was covered with cherry trees and flower viewers every spring. The people loved that hill. Into the early Showa era, a cannon fired at noon to let people know it was time for lunch. |
