Description | Seigo Nishioka (then 13) who drew this picture Seigo Nishioka, a 1st year student at Hiroshima Prefectural Technical School, was exposed to the atomic bombing at school. When he came to, he discovered that he was trapped under the school building and couldn't move. Although he was rescued somehow, he suffered burns on his face and hand, and injuries to his foot. Around 11 am Junior high school students running away from the flames About 10 junior high school students were running abreast of each other, away from the flames and toward Miyuki Bridge. |
