| Description | “A-bomb experience of a 13-year-old boy” Artist: Seigo Nishioka I crawled slowly out of the hole. All the buildings had collapsed, and the school, which was standing some moments ago, was no longer there. I wanted water, so I left school for water from the river beside the school. There, I saw a young woman in a yukata, rolling slowly down the gentle slope, all the while yelling, “Kill me! Kill me!” There were many evacuees walking, but everybody was at their limit and was in no state to help others. |
