Description | “A-bomb experience of a 13-year-old boy” Artist: Seigo Nishioka I fell belly-down, looked up, and saw how the large two-story main school building, made of wood, came crashing down in front of me. “It's over,” I thought, and then I passed out. When I came to, it was all dark and quiet. I couldn't move from the waist down, because my body was caught in something. I yelled, “Help me, help me!” very loudly. My third yell brought two to three men over to me, and I heard them removing the debris of the collapsed building above my head. I thought, “I'm going to be saved.” |
