Perhaps because we were walking beneath the overhangs of roofs, we weren't seriously injured. We quickly headed into the city to provide aid. The injured begged us for water, but I had heard that we shouldn't give them any. However, I was unable to turn down the pleas of the seriously wounded who had little chance left to live and gave them water to drink. |
