Tomojiro Obara, the artist's father, found his factory at home turned into a burned field. The factory, which Tomojiro had expanded after years of hard work, was reduced to nothing but a burned safe. Losing his youngest son and sustaining serious injuries himself, Tomojiro hoisted this flag in the hope that his surviving sons would re-establish his factory at the site.
