Artist's comments:
“At 8:15 a.m. when lining up in the schoolyard during morning assembly, all the first-, second- and third-year students were exposed to the bomb and sustained burn injuries. Some were burned to death due to the fire in the school building. Students who were at the front or back were blown away by the blast and burned to death.”
