| Description | Junior high school girls wearing sailor middies over their monpe trousers were pointing at the black cloud covering the city center, holding each other by the shoulders, screaming and crying, “Mother! Mother.!” Junior high school boys were there, too. They seemed to be all right, because their shirts and monpe pants were only somewhat torn. But the next morning, most of them lay dead on the side of the Ochigo Pass road. |
