| Description | Bunkers had been dug at four locations within the Eastern Drill Ground. They were four meters wide, 15 meters long, and about one meter deep in size. Unburned scrap wood was placed inside, and corpses were lined up on top. The corpses were horribly decomposed, their abdomens appeared ready to burst, and their eyes and noses were sunken. When it appeared that the time for cremation had arrived, all I could do was put my hands together in prayer and say good-bye. |
