"When I looked in the direction of Taisho Bridge in Danbara toward Atago-machi, the entire city was already a sea of flames. Everyone was completely dazed. Somewhere, a child said, "Mommy, you can't put out the fire, can you." The mother replied, 'There's nothing we can do. Next time, let't live in some country without war. We can even stop being Japanese, right?'I was deeply moved by the truths spoken by that mother and child." Excerpt from the explanation in the drawing
