Explanation in picture
Eiko was in the second grade at Danbara Elementary School. When the main hall of the temple fell, she was trapped under the roof. I hurried over, but it was obvious I could do nothing alone. I wanted to get some neighbors to help, but there was no one in sight I could ask. Everyone was trying desperately to escape. I could hear Eiko saying, "Mother, my arms, my legs…"
