| Description | Disaster certificate Donated by UEDA Masaharu and Reiko UEDA Yukio (then, 26) experienced the atomic bombing on the second floor of the Hiroshima Station West Signal Station. The building was blown away by the blast in a flash, and Yukio was slammed against the ground. Fortunately, he did not sustain any serious injuries, and several days later, he walked along a train track and finally reached home (in present-day Higashi-Hiroshima City). After the war, Yukio did not talk much about the atomic bombing. |
