| Description | Pass case Donation / Haruko Ota Approx. 900m from the hypocenter Koami-cho Teruko Asaeda (then, 14), a second-year student in Aki Girls High School, was exposed while demolishing buildings in Koami-cho and disappeared. On August 7, her father, her older sister Haruko, and her younger brother entered the city to look for Teruko. Their desperate search failed to turn up even her corpse. However, the family of another student from Teruko's school unearthed Teruko's pass case at the worksite and returned it to her family. |
