| Description | Shigeko's father, Morizo Nagasaki, was demolishing buildings when he was exposed to the bomb and badly burned. He was liffed into a truck, but the pain was so bad he chose to walk home. He died in the morning on August 15. He was carrying this pocket watch when he was injured by the bomb, so his wife kept it all these years in the family Buddhist altar. |
