| Description | This backpack was at the donor's house at the time of the bombing. Donor Shunichiro Arai was unhurt because he was mobilized to a workplace out of the city. The roof of his house collapsed under the blast, and the doors and windows were blown away. His father Kanosaku and his mother Tsuru were both at home. Kanosaku was covered in blood oozing from where glass shards pierced his back. Tsuru was blown through the air by the blast and sustained severe injuries to her face. |
