Description | Yoshiharu Kinoshita (then 13) was a first-year student at Sanyo Technical Junior High School. He was a mobilized student exposed to the A-bomb while demolishing buildings. His father Fukaichi (then 47) hurriedly returned from his business trip. With his third son Katsuyuki (then 11) he walked around the city searching for Yoshiharu but couldn't find him. In the evening of the 7th, Fukaichi found the body of his son at the Hiroshima Army Clothing Depot in Deshio-cho just before it was carried away. He was seriously burned and bandaged over his entire body. |
