Description | Kosuke Inoue (then, 12), a first-year student as Municipal Shipbuilding Industry School, was exposed to the atomic bombing while demolishing buildings as a mobilized student. When he did not return home, his father, Masao (then, 47), went to Kosuke's worksite. He was able to identify his son by this belt buckle and an operation scar. Kosuke's body was grievously transformed, his upper torso burned bright red and his large eyes shrunk small. |
