Description | First- and second-year students of municipal Junior High School were exposed to the bomb while helping with building demolition. Most were killed. These clothes were worn by three who died. These gaiters belonged to Masayuki Ueda (then 12), a first-year student at Municipal Junior High School. After exposed to the bomb, he fled to neighboring Fukushima-cho. He was found and helped by one of his neighbors, but died in the afternoon of August 8. |
