| Description | Yoshiko Marumi, a second-year student at First Municipal Girls High School, was mobilized and exposed at her building demolition worksite. Immediately after the bombing, her father Shigeo walked through the city searching for Yoshiko. On the third day he found Yoshiko's body near the foot of a bridge near her worksite. He identified her by the characters "Marumi" sewn into the collar of the burned blouse. |
