Description | Lunch box and chopsticks Donated by Shunji and Akiyoshi Takeda Masaro Takeda (then, 12), Class 6, seventh grade, fled as far as a classmate's house on the grounds of Yuishinji Temple in Funairi-kawaguchi-cho. Masaro died on August 8. His father, Shunji, found the lunch box and chopsticks at Masao's building demolition work site. Not knowing that Masaro's corpse lay at Yuishinji Temple, he picked up this lunch box, filled it with sand from the site, and took it home in place of his ashes. |
