Description | Melted together ceramic vases Donated by Michiko Komo Masako Komo (maiden name Ogawa), the donor's mother-in-law, had cherished these vases. They were found near the hypocenter and brought back by Masako's older sister, Hiroe Ito (maiden name Ogawa) and her father, Sanae Ogawa, who went to Hiroshima City Hall in search of Hiroe's husband who had been working there. Her husband died in the atomic bombing. |
