| Description | Takeo Aizawa (then, 21) was exposed to the bombing at the post where his unit was stationed. He was blown through the air by the blast. Many fellow soldiers died after developing A-bomb sickness, including sudden hair loss. Takeo suffered diarrhea for a month. He found this plate in the burnt ruins of his unit's housing. |
