Description | In mid-September1945,Kanji Yamasaki(then, 17)and his older sister (then, 32) dug up the burnt ruins of home in searth of ashes of ashes of their mother,aunt,and cousins,all killed by the bomb. They found none. This dish used from the taime of kanji's childhood was all they could find to keep as a remembrance of the dead. |
