This wall clock was exposed to the bomb at Takeya Rice Store, which had served as a distribution center. The store sustained significant damage, with its roof displaced and windowpanes shattered. This clock was hanging on the wall but it stopped ticking with its hands indicating the time of the A-bombing. It was collected by students at Koi Elementary School during a school project that solicited A-bomb related materials in the community. It was recently donated to the Peace Memorial Museum. |
