| Description | Sutekichi Masuda (then, 33) lived with his mother Yoko. Sutekichi had been drafted into the army and was serving elsewhere when the atomic bomb fell. He returned home and searched through the ruins until he finally identified the site where his house once stood. This charcoal brazier had been in the family since his grandfather was a boy. When he unearthed it, he found his mother´s corpse nearby. |
