| Description | Hiroko Okata (then,13) was a first-year student at First Hiroshima Prefectural Girl's High School. She was exposed at her building demolition worksite and fled to Koi National School. Her father, Niroku, rode a bicycle to search the city for his daughter. That evening, he identified her by a shoe with her name on it, but she died on the truck that carried them home. This curtain was covering his daughter when Niroku found her. |
