| Description | 150m from the hypocenter Nakajima-hon-machi (now, Nakajima-cho) Donor Taisuke Dohi was unhurt because he was out of town. His grandmother Yo Dohi (then, 60) was exposed at home and has never been seen since. This portable safe found in the burnt ruins was deformed such that it was impossible to open. Because the war was followed by a time of great scarcity, they repaired this safe and used it for many years. These coins were in this safe at the time of the bombing. |
