| Description | Yukiko inherited this mirror from her mother Mineko Habu (then 36). A few days after the A-bombing, Yukiko’s uncle found it in the still-smoldering ruins of her house. He brought it home with her remains. The mirror, which Mineko used every day, was the only recognizable object left in the house. Mineko died near the family’s Buddhist altar. |
