| 内容 | 坪中幸代さん(当時27歳)は、段原日出町の自宅で被爆。夫の良喜さん(当時27歳)を仕事へ送り出し、体調が悪かった幸代さんは蚊帳をつって横になっていた時のことだった。 家は台所を除いて屋根が吹っ飛び、幸代さんのそばにも大きな梁が落ちてきた。瓦礫の下敷になって動けなくなった幸代さんは、二人の息子に助けられて瓦礫の下から抜け出した。幸代さんにも幸い大きなけがはなかった。 家族の無事を確認した幸代さんが近所の様子を見に行くと、全身にガラス片を浴びた人、五寸釘が突き刺さった人らが助けを求めていた。 自宅ではちょろちょろとではあったが水道の水が出ており、家にあった救急箱を使って幸代さんがけが人の手当てをしていると、「救護所になっている」とどこからか聞いたのか、負傷者が集まってきた。困った人をほっておけない性格だった幸代さんは、「あきらめちゃいけんよ、頑張るんよ、あきらめちゃいけんよ」とずっと励まし続け、手当てを続けた。 戦後、幸代さんが被爆時のことについて話すことはほとんどなかった。「大人の事情で子どもが犠牲になるのはたまらない。自分たちで最後にしてほしい」というのが、幸代さんの切なる願いであった。 この幸代さんの結婚写真は、被爆時は自宅のタンスに入れていたもの。戦後、幸代さんが大切に保管していた。 |

| 展示説明文 | 被爆した写真 寄贈／福原信太郎 爆心地から約2500ｍ 段原日出町 坪中幸代さん(27歳)は自宅で被爆｡ 家族は無事だったが､家の外では全身にガラス片を浴びた人などが助けを求めていた｡自宅でけが人の手当てをしていると､負傷者が集まって来た｡幸代さんは､｢あきらめちゃいけんよ！頑張るんよ!!｣と手当てを続けた｡ 自宅のタンスに入れていて被爆したこの写真は､戦後も幸代さんが大切にしていたものである｡ 寄贈者(幸代さんの孫)のお話から 「困った人を放っておけない性格だった祖母は､懸命に手当てを続けたようです｡戦後､原爆の話をすることはほとんどなく､あるとき川(被爆時にはいっぱい死体が流れていた)の近くを通りかかった時､ポツリと「さえんかった」とつぶやいたのが印象的でした｡」 |
| 展示説明文（英語） | A photo exposed to the atomic bombing Donated by FUKUHARA Shintaro 2,500 m from the hypocenter Dambara-hinode-cho TSUBONAKA Sachiyo (then, 27) experienced the atomic bombing at home. Her family members survived the bombing, but outside her house people who had glass pieces showered on their bodies were calling for help. Because she was giving first-aid treatment to some injured people at home, the wounded came to gather at her home. Sachiyo continued to give treatment while encouraging them, saying, “Don’t give up! Hang in there!!” This photo that was exposed to the bombing in a drawer of a chest at her home has been carefully kept by Sachiyo. Excerpt from a talk of the donor (Sachiyo’s grandchild) “My grandmother, who is the type of person that is unable to leave a person in affliction alone, seemed to do her best in continuing to give first-aid treatment. After the war, she rarely talked about the atomic bombing. One day, she suddenly murmured, “That's a shame” when she and I passed by a river (in which many corpses were flowing immediately after the atomic bombing). Her words left an impression on me.” |
