| 内容 | 吉野ヒデ子ちゃん(当時0歳11か月)、吉野ケイ子ちゃん(当時4歳)姉妹の死亡証明願兼証明書。1945年(昭和20年)10月25日付。 吉野ヒデ子ちゃんは、爆心地から1,800ｍの自宅の縁側で母・シナ子さん(当時32歳)の腕の中でお乳を飲んでいる時に被爆した。自宅は一瞬にして崩れ、母とともに下敷きになったヒデ子ちゃんは即死。シナ子さんは、自身も大けがを負いながらもヒデ子ちゃんの口に水を含ませ、必死で蘇生させようとしたが、助けることは出来なかった。8月7日生まれのヒデ子ちゃんは、翌日が満1歳の誕生日であった。ヒデ子ちゃんの姉のケイ子ちゃんは、縁側前の庭で遊んでいる時に被爆。大けがを負ったシナ子さんと戻ってきた父・仁一さん(当時39歳)とともに逃げたが、8月9日に息を引き取った。 |

| 展示説明文（英語） | Requests for Certification and Certificate of Death Donor: Michiko Yoshino The Requests for Certification and Certificate of Death for the two sisters Hideko Yoshino (11 months old at the time) and Keiko Yoshino (4 years old at the time). Dated October 25, 1945. Little Hideko Yoshino was atomic bombed while her mother, Shinako (32 years old at the time), was breast feeding on the engawa (veranda-like porch) at home, which was 1,800 m from the hypocenter. The house collapsed in an instant and fell on the two, and Hideko died instantly. Being severely injured, Shinako desperately tried to attempt to resuscitate Hideko, putting water in her mouth, but she couldn’t save her. Hideko was born on August 7th, so the following day would have been her first birthday. Keiko, Hideko's big sister, was exposed to the bombing in the garden in front of the engawa. Keiko evacuated along with her severely injured mother Shinako and father Niichi (39 years old at the time) who came back home, but passed away on August 9th. |
