| 内容 | 渡邉チカさん(当時68歳)は、孫の堯夫(たかお)ちゃん(当時4歳)の手を引き、雅夫ちゃん(当時2歳)を背に負って、爆心地となった島病院の向かいの清病院へ行く途中で被爆した。仕事場の市内で被爆し助かった二人の子の母の絹代(きぬよ)さんは、毎日三人の行方を捜したが、ついに遺骨すら見つからなかった。これは堯夫ちゃんの死亡報告書。 |

She was leading one grandson (Takao; then, four) by the hand and carrying another (Masao; then, two) on her back. For days, the boys’ mother, Kinuyo, searched for the three but never even found their remains. |
