| 内容 | 糸賀志伸さんは、4歳のときに爆心地から約1,500mの横川町三丁目の自宅近所の家で被爆した。祖母がうつ伏せになってかばってくれたため、志伸さんはけがをせずにすんだ。けがを負った志伸さんの祖父母、母、志伸さんの4人は、己斐の知人宅を頼って避難した。志伸さんは当時わずか4歳であったが、避難する途中で見た、黒く焼けただれた被災者の姿を覚えている。 志伸さんの父は応召中であったため、祖父の秀さんが一家の代表として罹災証明の手続きを取った。 |

| 展示説明文 | 罹災証明書 寄贈／糸賀志伸(イトガ シノブ)氏 糸賀志伸(イトガ シノブ)さん(当時4歳)は､爆心地から1500メートルの近所の家で被爆しました｡祖母の膝の上で眠っていた糸賀さんは､建物の下敷きになりましたが､祖母が､上に覆いかぶさり､守ってくれました｡助け出された糸賀さんは､怪我をした祖父母､母とともに避難しました｡糸賀さんは､そのとき見た光景を今でも忘れることができません｡ ｢瓦礫で埋まった道を励まし合いながら避難する途中､異様な集団に出くわした｡何か黒いものが一つ､また一つと動いている｡よく見てみると､真っ黒に焼けただれた人間であった｡何かを言うために口を動かしたときに白い歯が見え､それで初めて人間の顔だと判別できるほど､ひどいやけどであった｡川のほとりにさしかかると､喉の渇きに負けた人々が川の水を飲み､そこらじゅうをのた打ち回り､力尽きてのたれ死んでいた｡｣ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Victim's Certificate Donor: Shinobu Itoga Mr. Itoga Shinobu (4 years old at the time) was atomic bombed at a neighbor's house 1,500 m from the hypocenter. Mr. Itoga was sleeping on his grandmother's lap. When the building collapsed on top of them, his grandmother covered him with her body to protect him. Mr. Itoga was rescued, and evacuated with his grandparents and mother. He still cannot forget what he saw then. “While evacuating along the road filled with rubble, we were encouraging each other. Then we came across a bizarre group. I saw one or two black things moving. When I looked closer, they were people, burned completely black. Their burns were so bad that I could not recognize that they were human faces until when their white teeth became visible when they opened their mouths to say something. When we reached the riverbank, I saw people who succumbed to their thirst drink the river water, thrash around in agony, lose their strength and die.” |
