| 内容 | 木村サクヨさん一家の罹災証明書。昭和20年8月9日西警察署長発行。被爆当時、中広町にあった木村家の自宅には寄贈者の母・サクヨさん、長姉・初子さん、初子さんの娘・道子さん、三姉・秋子さんの4人がおり、長姉の初子さんは背中一面火傷を負った。寄贈者の英雄さん(当時10歳)は三篠国民学校の仮校舎の外で、授業がはじまるのを待っていた時に被爆した。燃える家のそばで母や姉たちと再会した英雄さんは、家族で山へ逃げ、三滝の竹藪につくった小屋の中で何日か過ごした後、本川国民学校の地下で避難生活をおくった。地下には被災した人たちがいっぱいで、毎日のように人が亡くなっていき、学校の前の広場で焼かれた。英雄さんも死体を焼く火が消えないように火の番をした。広島県産業奨励館で電話の交換をしていた次姉の春江さん(当時16歳)は現在も行方不明で、戦後復員した次兄が持ち帰ったドームの土だけが、春江さんの遺骨代わりとなっている。 |

| 展示説明文（英語） | Disaster certificate Donated by Hideo Kimura On August 6, at the house of the Kimura family in Nakahiro-machi, were Mother Sakuyo (then, 45), the eldest daughter Hatsuko (then, 22) and her daughter Michiko (then, 0), and the third daughter Akiko (then, 14). Hatsuko received burns all over her back. The third son, Hideo, was exposed to the atomic bomb outside a temporary building of an elementary school. He met his family near their burning house, and they all fled to a mountain together and spent a few days in a shack in bamboo woods. They later took shelter in the basement of Honkawa Elementary School. The basement was crowded with many A-bomb victims. Almost every day some died and cremations were held in an open space in front of the school. Hideo helped with the cremations even though he was only ten years old. The second daughter Harue (then, 16) was a telephone operator at the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall (now, A-bomb Dome). She was never found. Soil from the A-bomb Dome was placed in the family grave instead of her remains. |
