| 内容 | 県立広島第二中学校の3年生(当時14歳)だった寄贈者は、被爆当日は佐伯郡宮内村に学徒動員されていた。「広島がやられた。学校もなくなり大変なことになっている。」と聞き、地御前で罹災證明書を発行してもらい、そのまま一晩野宿し、翌7日に市内へ戻り、豊田郡豊田村の実家まで何とか帰った。幸いなことに、障害や後遺症などはでなかったが、亡くなった友人もいたという。焼けていない海田高等女学校(現・海田高校)の特別室で授業が始まったのは10月。翌11月にはバラックではあったが、ようやく西観音町にあった学校へ通えるようになった。 |

| 展示説明文（英語） | The donor, a third-year student of Second Hiroshima Prefectural Junior High School, was mobilized to Miyauchi-mura, Saeki-gun (now, Hatsukaichi City). Hearing that Hiroshima had been bombed and the situation disastrous with the school annihilated, the donor asked for issuance of this disaster certificate (*note) in Jigozen-mura (now, Hatsukaichi City). On the 7th, the day after the A-bombing, the donor headed back to Hiroshima City and managed to return to his (her) parents' home in Toyota-mura, Toyota-gun (now, Higashihiroshima City). *Disaster certificate: Disaster certificates were issued to those who suffered war damage immediately after the bombing. With this certificate people could receive food rations and use public transportation for free. |
