| 展示説明文 | 大本営星章の台座金 大本営の建物正面に掲げられていた星章の台座です｡ 弘法満さんは､大正時代に輜重兵であったため､大本営付近の様子をよく知っていました｡被爆した年の秋､崩壊した大本営跡で発見した星章の台座を持ち帰りました｡星章は重くて運ぶことができませんでした｡ 寄贈／弘法満氏 |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Metal base from the star on the Imperial Headquarters building This metal base held a star that decorated the facade of the Imperial Headquarters Building. Mitsuru Kobo had been a soldier in the Transport Corps during the Taisho Period, so he was very familiar with the Imperial Headquarters building. In the autumn after the bombing, he discovered the base at the ruined Imperial Headquarters and took it home. The star was too heavy so he was unable to carry it. Donated by Mitsuru Kobo |
