| 内容 | 久蔵寺は、国民義勇隊として県庁付近の建物疎開作業に動員中に被爆、約120人もの犠牲者がでた藤川製鋼所が、その死を悼み法要を行うために建立したお寺。久蔵寺にあずけられたこの仏像には、被爆した痕跡とみられる焼けこげが見られる。 |

| 展示説明文 | 仏像 寄贈／石田愃夫氏 大洲町にあった藤川製鋼所では､従業員や動員学徒などが県庁付近の建物疎開作業に出動し､約120人もの犠牲者がでました｡1946年(昭和21年)､その死を悼み､二度と戦争をしてはならないとの願いを込めて､久蔵寺が建立されました｡ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Statue of the Buddha Donated by Yasuo Ishida Fujikawa Steelworks was located in Ozu-machi. About 120 people, including employees and students who were mobilized for the labor services in the steelworks, died near the prefectural office, where they were engaged in the building demolition. In 1946, Kyuzoji Temple was erected to mourn their deaths and to express the hope that war would never be repeated. |
