| 内容 | 原爆投下当時、賀茂海軍衛生学校の学生で軍医少尉だった斉藤貞雄さん(当時22歳)は、8月6日夜、学校の救護隊の一員として広島市内に入り、入市被爆した。いち早く市内にかけつけた賀茂海軍衛生学校の救護隊は、東練兵場や横川駅前の三篠信用組合ビルで救護活動に従事した。この襟章は、その際身に付けていたもの。 |

| 展示説明文 | 軍医少尉の襟章 寄贈／斉藤貞雄(サイトウ サダオ)氏 賀茂海軍衛生･軍医少尉だった斉藤貞雄(サイトウ サダオ)さん(当時22歳)は､8月6日夜､学校から救護隊の一員として､広島市内に入りました｡この襟章は､その際に身に付けていたものです｡到着してすぐ､ろうそくの明かりを頼りに治療を開始｡患者たちの皮ふは､やけどではがれて手指にまとわりつき､治療薬は､数時間で底をついてしまいました｡ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | The collar patch of a Second Lieutenant Surgeon Donor: Sadao Saito Second Lieutenant Surgeon Sadao Saito (22 years old at the time), who was a student of the Kamo naval school of hygiene and nursing, entered the city of Hiroshima on the night of August 6th as a member of the rescue team. He was wearing this collar patch at the time. As soon as he arrived, he started treatment using candlelight. The burned skin of a patient was peeling off and clinging to his hands and fingers. They soon ran out of medicine in a few hours. |
