| 内容 | 市立中学校1年生の坂上彬さん(当時12歳)は、動員先である建物疎開作業現場で被爆。自宅で被爆した父親の善作さん(当時60歳)と郊外の動員先から戻った兄の崇さん(当時15歳)は、8月6日夕方から帰らぬ彬さんを必死で捜索した。9日、崇さんが市内から約24キロメートル離れた大野陸軍病院の廊下に寝かされている彬さんを発見した。彬さんは火傷を負い、シャツの胸に書かれた名前は焼き抜かれていた。崇さんの知らせで母親のカヅさん(当時49歳)が駆けつけたが、その夜死亡した。これは彬さんが書いたもので、東観音町の自宅にあったもの。 |

| 展示説明文（英語） | Akira Sakanoue (then, 12), a first-year student at Municipal Junior High School, was exposed at his building demolition site. When he did not return home on August 6, his father, Zensaku (then, 60) and elder brother Takashi (then, 15), began that evening desperately searching for him. On the 9th, Takashi found Akira lying on the floor in the corridor of the Ono Army Hospital, roughly 24 kilometers from the city. He was burned, and the chest area of his shirt where his name had been written was burned off. When Takashi informed his mother Kazu (then, 49), she rushed to her son’s side. Akira died that night. This name tag written by Akira was found at his home in Higashi-kan-on-machi. |
