| 展示説明文 | 収集／広島市 広島の沖合にある似島には､被爆後から20日の間に､約１万人の負傷者が広島から搬送され､亡くなった多くの人がそのまま埋葬されました｡1971(昭和46)年と2004(平成16)年に遺骨と遺品の発掘作業が行われ､約700体の遺骨と､126点の遺品が収集されました｡この３つの指輪は､その際に発掘されたものですが､遺族が見つからなかった遺品として資料館に収蔵されています｡ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Collected by Hiroshima City Within 20 days after the bombing, approximately 10,000 injured people were transported from Hiroshima to Ninoshima Island, located off the coast of Hiroshima. Many of them were buried there after their deaths. The excavation of ashes and mementos in 1971 and 2004 resulted in the collection of ashes from approximately 700 bodies and 126 mementos. These three rings were unearthed then and have been stored in this museum as mementos of victims whose bereaved families have not been found. |
