| 展示説明文 | ズボン 爆心地から1,200ｍ 雑魚場町 長尾梅代寄贈 修道中学校2年生の長尾孟良さん(当時14歳)は、建物疎開作業現場で被爆し、当日の午後4時ごろ、自分と同じように上半身にひどい火傷を負った友人二人を連れて自宅へ戻りました。母親の梅代さんが3人を近くの病院へ連れて行きましたが、薬もなく、負傷者でいっぱいでした。4日後にようやく救護所に収容され、梅代さん自身も高熱を出しながら必死で看病しましたが、8月11日に3人とも相次いで息を引き取りました。 |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Trousers 1,200 m from the hypocenter Zakoba-cho Donated by Umeyo Nagao Takeyoshi Nagao (then 14), a second-year student of Shudo Junior High School was exposed to the atomic bombing at his building demolition work site. At around 4 p.m. that evening, he returned home together with two friends who suffered severe burns on their upper body just as he did. Takeyoshi’s mother Umeyo took the three children to the hospital nearby, but it was full of injured and there were no medicines for treatment. Four days later, the three were finally put in a relief station. Despite desperate care of Umeyo, who also developed a high fever, the three boys passed away one after another on August 11. |
